Refund policy

1. General Returns — 10-Day Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Customers may request a return within 10 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Conditions for General Returns

To qualify for a return within the 10-day period:

  • The item must be completely unused.
  • The item must be unworn.
  • The item must remain in its original, unopened packaging.

Items that have been opened, used, or worn are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless they are defective or damaged.

Return Shipping for General Returns

For change-of-mind returns of unopened items, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

Returns or exchanges for opened items are only accepted if the item received is damaged or defective.

How to Report Damage

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photos or videos showing the damage.
  • Photos of the outer packaging and shipping label, if available.

Requests made after 24 hours may not be accepted.

Return Shipping for Defective Items

If the item is confirmed to be damaged or defective:

  • There are no restocking fees.
  • You will not be responsible for return shipping costs.

In many cases, we may not require the damaged item to be returned.

3. Resolution Process

After receiving your request and verifying the issue, or after receiving the unopened returned item, we will process your request within 3–5 business days.

Depending on availability and the situation, we may offer:

  • A free replacement, if the item is available; or
  • A full refund.

4. Refunds for Cash on Delivery Orders

Petit Détail currently accepts Cash on Delivery orders.

Because of this, approved refunds cannot be returned to a credit card. If a refund is approved, our support team will contact you directly to arrange the refund using an appropriate local transfer method.
